• This website is a communication vehicle of Bloordale United Church which complements our paper-based media and has two main purposes:
(a) To provide timely updates and convenient access for our congregation to current events and happenings, even if they've misplaced their "Bloorbeat" newsletter or the insert from their order of service.
(b) To provide information about our church to the wider community around us, in order to encourage our neighbours to participate in our events, and to consider Bloordale if they are looking for a church home.

• The website is one of several communication arms of the Communications Committee of Bloordale United Church and is operated for the Communications Committee by the Webmaster. The Webmaster is responsible for the technical operation of the website and acts as its editor in chief.
• The contents of the website are derived from "Bloorbeat', from weekly announcements that are included in the order of service, and from contributions submitted by the various committees of the church, by church staff, or by individual members of the congregation. Contributions can be sent to the Church Office or to the Webmaster, ( see “Reaching Us”). Wherever possible, contributions should be in electronic form. Text, clip art, and digital photographs can all be readily accommodated.
• Contents must be in good taste, must be in keeping with the Privacy Policy and purposes of this website, and must be relevant to the life and work of Bloordale United Church. Comments, corrections and contributions are always welcomed. The Webmaster will have the final editorial say over what to include and what not to include in the site.
• Any concerns about the content or the policy of the website should be directed to the Webmaster.
• Amendments to the website Editorial Policy and Privacy Policy must be approved by the Communications Committee. Any major changes in these policies should also be approved by the Church Council.
